Mountaintop Family Center – Mountaintop, PA

Spire worked with Mountaintop Family Center Church, to design an architectural and theatrical lighting system which uses the latest LED technology to create an efficient and stylish space. The system needed to be intuitive for the most basic user yet allow expansion for dramatic productions.

Spire designed and installed the lighting for much of the building as well as the theatrical lighting system for the sanctuary. The lighting system uses LED pendant fixtures as house lighting to create an efficient and modern feeling space. The stage lighting system uses LED pars as backlight allowing the stage to be washed with color. The architectural control is system is comprised of numerous button stations that allow basic users to enter spaces and turn on the lighting as well as allowing the user to dim the LED lighting. The architectural control system is a combination of products from the Interactive Technologies CueServer family.

To allow for simplicity and better control of LED fixtures, a Pathway Cognito Pro512 was specified for this space. The stage was lit with Apollo Design’s Multiform HP3-90s as well as 8 of ETC’s Source Fours.

“The team at Spire brought our auditorium into the 21st They assessed our needs and presented a solution that is user friendly and cutting at the same time. They have a knack for understanding the end user, in our case, senior citizens as well as our staff members.”

“Spire is not only able to deliver a fantastic result, but they were also extremely personal, and have been helpful in training, repairing, and guiding us through our lighting needs.”

Pastor Monty of Mongul Church

“Spire was able to create an incredibly immersive environment without distraction from lighting fixtures. Their selection of fixture placement and color really brought their work to life and I am very happy our ultra compact luminaries were chosen to create the magic.”

Quan Gan of Gantom Lighting and Controls – Trophy Room Project

“(Members of Spire) were able to interpret what a non-technical person is saying, know how to fix it and articulate back the solution to me. That’s key. It’s nice, because not all technical people can do that translation.”
