St. Luke’s Hospital – Anderson Campus – Easton, PA

The team responsible for St. Luke’s new Anderson Campus Hospital was looking for a way to create a new landmark in the community, and turned to Spire and Eslinger Lighting for help. The hospital is uniquely situated where it is visible from a couple mile stretch of several highways, providing an excellent opportunity to highlight the building with color to stand out in the community. Any system needed to be expandable as additional buildings are built, yet simple enough that the hospital’s staff could create looks on their own to celebrate holidays, etc.

Eslinger Lighting relied on Spire for overall design of the lighting and control system. This inludes 18 Martin Exterior 400 fixtures mounted around the outside of the building, driven by a Interactive Technologies CueServer. A custom web-based interface allows the hospital’s staff to create dramatic lighting presets which are fired each evening

“Spire was able to create an incredibly immersive environment without distraction from lighting fixtures. Their selection of fixture placement and color really brought their work to life and I am very happy our ultra compact luminaries were chosen to create the magic.”

Worship Pastor Monty Seaman- Mongul Church

“(Members of Spire) were able to interpret what a non-technical person is saying, know how to fix it and articulate back the solution to me. That’s key. It’s nice, because not all technical people can do that translation.”

Toni MacDonald, Director of Marketing – Rosemont College

“Spire brought our auditorium into the 21st They assessed our needs and presented a solution that is user friendly and cutting edge at the same time. They have a knack for understanding the end user, in our case, senior citizens as well as our staff members.”
