Pierson AVL partnered with St. John Vianney High School (SJVHS) to transform their theatre into a modern, functional, and visually engaging space, with a focus on enhancing theatre education. As theatre consultants, Pierson guided the school through Phase 1 of the renovation, which encompassed upgrades to aesthetics, lighting, and stage rigging.

House Lighting System

• Fixture: ETC GDS Pro One-Cell

  • Features: Perfect dimming to 0% for theatrical productions.

  • Results: Increased seating illumination to approximately 30FC (up from 10FC) while achieving a house lighting system efficiency of 0.4W/sq. ft.

  • Technology: Vacancy sensors power down the system after 15 minutes of inactivity, with deactivation in "Show Mode."

    • Custom touchscreen GUI designed by Pierson AVL for future A/V control expansion.
